Longitudinally finned tubes
Finned tubes are continuously welded through an electric resistance welding method. For non-ferrous materials such as copper alloys, fins are brazed. Material combinations between fins and tubes depend on their electric resistance weldability. This process does not affect the tube metal structure and does not create additional stress in the welded area.
